The purpose of this organization shall be to serve as liaisons within the Ferguson College of Agriculture Student Success Leaders. We aspire to develop experiences that foster relationships of mutual respect among students, faculty, and staff in the college, as well as other Ferguson partners both on-campus and off-campus. The GLs will assist with different events inside and outside the college such study abroad activities, Ferguson Round-Up, Ferguson Career Fair, OSU study abroad fair, and different cultural activities at OSU. The OSU Horticulture Club is the oldest student organization on campus - our mission is to promote and encourage academic, social, and professional interests in horticulture. We are a group passionate about plants and their impacts on all facets of our daily lives - from ornamentals to vegetables to hydroponics and greenhouse management; we cover it all! Grow Pokes!

We are open to students of ALL majors and gardening experience levels and are proud to have no membership fee!

Horticulture Club Meetings will be on the first Thursday of the month at 5:30 PM at the Greenhouse Learning Center.

Founded in 1900 by Gifford Pinchot, it is the largest professional society for foresters in the world. The mission of the Society of American Foresters is to advance the science, education, technology, and practice of forestry; to enhance the competency of its members; to establish professional excellence; and, to use the knowledge, skills, and conservation ethic of the profession to ensure the continued health and use of forest ecosystems and the present and future availability of forest resources to benefit society. SAF is a nonprofit organization meeting the requirements of 501 (c) (3). SAF members include natural resource professionals in public and private settings, researchers, CEOs, administrators, educators, and students.
